Beverage end light leak detection for high-speed EOE conversion presses featuring Eclipse Technology.
Prime Controls’ light-based leak detection system featuring Eclipse Technology uses the latest advancements in light generation and detection technology to achieve industry-leading performance that outperforms existing light testing technology 20x, easily detecting 0.5 micron holes and cracks in can ends at speeds over 1,000 ends per minute. Using ultra-sensitive leak detection technology, Eclipse technology penetrates smaller cracks more efficiently improving the detection of circuitous defects. Built-in self-test and monitoring ensures all ends are fully and completely tested for cracks and holes.
The detection series recommended for beverage ends is comprised of the LH200H-OPT Light Detector and SL100H-1 LED Illuminator. The compact two-component system mounts directly on the outfeed plate of a conversion press, one pair per lane.
