October 25, 2016, Dayton, OH – Prime Controls, a manufacturer of double metal sheet sensors and controls for the can making, automotive, appliance and other metal forming industries, was one of the top winners at this year’s Dayton Business Journal’s 2016 Manufacturing Awards. The Manufacturing Awards recognizes the best manufacturing companies in the Miami Valley Region – a vital industry for the Dayton region.

The fifth annual Manufacturing Awards held on October 20th comprised of seven categories: Community Involvement, Exporting, Innovation, Overall Excellence, Safety, Sustainability and Workforce Training. With a record 127 nominations from organizations throughout the region, Prime Controls took honors in all five categories they were nominated in – Community Involvement (2nd place), Exporting (2nd place), Innovation (3rd place), Sustainability (3rd place) and Overall Excellence. The nomination for Overall Excellence automatically places Primes Controls as a finalist for the Manufacturer of the Year category as part of the 2016 Business of the Year Awards, where Prime Controls was honored last year in the same category. 2016 Business of the Year Awards will take place on November 10th.
