CONTROLS, INC is pleased to announce the development of a Double Metal Detector Probe for small blanks. This probe is used where blanks are too small for our standard 18mm diameter probe. The special PMX12 probe can focus on an 8mm square area. It has the sensitivity of a 30mm probe and can monitor metal parts up to 1mm (.040") thick. The magnetic field is applied with two small electrodes that contact one side of the blank. The concentrated field penetrates a single blank and has additonal field to detect a second blank beyond the air gap seen in the above photo. |
It can be used with any Prime Controls Single Probe
Double Metal Detector unit.
