Model DS60 offers the economy
of a small self-contained sensor
package without compromising the
sensing or the control functions.
The split arrangement allows installation
of the control outside the hazardous
or inaccessible area where the
probe must be located.
The
control module is a 18-mm threaded
aluminum housing. No additional
enclosure is necessary because
both the DS60 and probe meet IP67
sealing standards. View
Installation Instructions
With
one of four Prime Model
PMxx, it detects steel (ferrous
metals) over a thickness range
of .05-mm to 1.5-mm (.002 to
.060). The system works by measuring
a change in the magnetic field
as metal contacts or slides across
its face
These
probes connect through a IP67
connector located on the top or
face of the DS60 Control. Also
located on top of the control
are a Green
LED power indicator, a
Amber
LED multifunction indicator
and a pushbutton switch used
to calibrate and indicate the
status of the system.
A
four-pin connector at the rear
provides connections for power,
ground, sourcing output, and sinking
output.
