The Model DS150, DS1500 family of 4 detectors and Model DS3410 all detect double sheets and blanks in the same way, with a transmitter and receiver probe. The difference is the additional features or complexity. The Model DS150 simply detects Double Sheets up to a maximum of 6 to 8 mm thick. There is a simple relay output for both DC and AC control. The Model DS3410 is ideally suited to detect very thin non ferrous metals like aluminum foil, copper plated circuits boards and non magnetic stainless steel (300 series)
