Leak Detection System

TestAlert,
is a smart and useful tool, that updates older can leak testers with today’s technology. This product is a necessity for any can leak tester, using science to accurately measure the test of each can and each tester pocket. TestAlert consists of an Absolute Pressure Transducer(s), a Human Machine Interface and a Model MD30 Control with Timing Encoder.

The Absolute Pressure Transducer ensures uniform leak testing from pocket to pocket, machine to machine, line to line and even plant to plant, collecting and processing a multitude of data. Never before has so much data been available for processing.

The Human Machine Interface makes TestAlert easy to understand and use through three key functions: Installation & Set-up, Production Testing, and Analysis & Diagnostics

For Installation and Setup, the 213x160mm touch screen monitor displays a simple, easy to understand process for installing and integrating the system into various machine sizes and types. Step by step setup instructions can be found within the system for 48, 36, 24 and 18 pocket testers. 

During Production Testing, the machine provides realtime indication of the process within each can pocket. As testing occurs, the status of up to 48 pockets is visible from several meters away For Analysis and diagnostics, when a problem is detected or is about to occur, the HMI will display a colorful alert, along with a recommended course of action.

The display screen is easy to read, with varying color as conditions change. Additional information collected includes real-time machine speed, test air pressure, good can pressure, average pocket pressure, the condition of various external sensors and mechanisms, as well as reject data for each pocket and the overall machine.

The Model MD30 Control is the heart of TestAlert, incorporating the latest technology with a fast processor that is estimated to operate well beyond any known testing speed. 

TestAlert updates older can leak testers with twenty-first century technology, by using the programmed information about the machine, pockets, cans and leak tolerances and comparing those tolerances with the actual leak tolerances and comparing those tolerances with the actual leak test.  TestAlert predicts and alerts companies about preventable seal leaks, giving them the opportunity to schedule a change without stopping production, ultimately saving the company money from costly downtime.
