mm Extended Range Dual Probe Set
Many
double metal detector probe installations
leave little room to remove metal blanks.
Unreliable single probe double metal
detectors cause intermittent or false
stops to production because metal does
not stay on the face. Prime’s Model
P70CS Double Metal Detector probes for
extended sensing range are used in locations
where limited space makes it impossible
to install or easily maintain. Body
Welders, Sheet Feeders, Strip Feed Presses
and many more applications are easier
to monitor. These probes allow ample
room to remove jammed blanks or sheets
in tight locations.
Ideally
suited for light gauge steel and tinplate,
double metal is detected reliably anywhere
within 75 mm (3 inch) separation of
the transmitter and receiver. Additional
separation out to 5 inches is possible
if the sheets can be restricted to 50%
of the separation. Prime probe housings
are made of #303 stainless steel. There
are virtually no exposed surfaces to
damage fragile components. If a probe
is changed, a micro style cable/connector
permits quick and easy replacement.
Probe is 25 mm dia with 51 mm length.
