Leak Detection System

  • Precise leak pressure measurements
  • Leak & non-leak values you can believe
  • Sense bad seals before they fail
  • Values are displayed in absolute psi
  • Lower cost than original system
  • Data collect port with profiling software
  • TD10 mates to the same air port as the older TD5
  • Four digit display values of important information
  • Quick change connections and fittings replace older system in 30 minutes or less
  • Both legacy and new control capable
  • DIN rail mount
Guaranteed to improve leak detection on existing Leak Testers. The New Prime Controls Leak Detection System moves production speed leak testing into the 21 century. Both TD10 and the LTC100 incorporate state of the art technology at half the cost of the old detectors. Absolute psi or mbar's values can be set into the system. Now leak detection makes sense. Now you can compare leak detection from machine to machine, line to line and even plant to plant. You can't be fooled into believing all leakers our caught. Now you have a readout that displays a digital leak value for every Can or End tested. The Prime Controls system allows you to set reject levels to .001 psi. However, as far as we know no tester can mechanically test to that resolution.

Quick Installation:
This system is designed to easily replace Hyde Park's TD5 and PS10, PS12 etc. Simply unscrew the TD5 and replace it with the TD10. Run new cables from the TD10 into the control enclosure. Remove the old PS units and install the supplied DIN rail and mount one or two LTC100(s). Connect the TD10 input cable and the supplied output cable. Our beta site and initial customers time to change have been between 15 to 30 minutes. The most time is spent converting from the old output cabling to the new.

Calibration
is easy. The LTC100 displays four selectable values. By pressing a Select button, the display shows the Last Can; Last Reject; Pressure and reject Threshold values. The reject Threshold value is changed by scrolling through values with the Up or Down push buttons on the front cover.

Data Port: Collect pocket leak data through the RS232 communication port. Yes,even good pockets can be characterized by a leak profile. The profile in the graph above shows two large spikes. This was an actual machine that had a leaking seal greater than the desired reject value. The graphic program above is also provided by Prime Controls.
